Research interests:
As a cognitive science engineer, I am interested in all fields of research that include humans and their ways to interact with their environment. In that aspect, my work at the Vision Institute will be to understand a bit better how aging affects visual and spatial exploration behavior in humans. By studying different ways to display information inside a train station, we hope to better understand visual cognition. Thus, we hope to create a more inclusive architecture in public spaces eventually.
Short bio:
After spending two years in preparatory classes, I went to ENSC (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Cognitique), an engineering school that is specialized in cognitive science. There I was a trainee for several companies. I worked for them in several fields of research, such as EEG and human-machine interfaces. I developed know-how in programming and human factors. In order to stay in touch with my technical background learned in preparatory classes, I turned to the Vision Institute.
